New Trees

 

Last year I made a small series of images dealing with the way technology has begun to disguise itself as nature. Specifically the new cell phone towers dressed up like trees. I later abandoned the project because I was having a hard time finding more than one or two examples.

In the latest issue of Aperture Magazine I read the article "New Trees" about photographer Robert Voit and his work seems to be a bit familiar...
